Michaela Harlow, Creator of The Gardener's Eden, Visits Us

"I approach each piece like a painter working on canvas, or a weaver creating an intricate tapestry. The simplicity of my forms allows for my complex coloration and layering process. It is the physical depth and density of that process that gives my work its soul, its presence, and its integrity. My optics are a window to that soul; a window to the life of the piece, like the rings of a tree." - Randi F. Solin

We had a special visitor in the studio.  Michaela Harlow, originater and composer of   The Gardener's Eden, stayed with us throught the entire process of making a piece of glass designated for a gallery. Although the temperature reached near 95 degrees Michaela stood there through the heat asking questions and taking picture... What a trooper!!    Thanks for the enjoyable company!
You can see the"fruits" of her labor on her beautifully designed blog site at:

Our small crew, Randi, Marie, George and Michael have been working in the glass studio for a number of years. It's like our own little family.
